Our 4th Of July!

I hope everyone had a great and safe 4th of July weekend. Our family had a great and relaxing one. We did not do much on Saturday except watch the fireworks that Thanksgiving Point did and we watch that from the back of our car on the side of the road near our house, it was not very long this year but the boys seem to enjoy watching them. Most of our activities came on Monday, we woke up the kids early so we could go to the parade in Provo. We packed our breakfast which were donuts, granola bars and orange juice (I know real healthy) and went and found a spot to sit and watch.
Jaxson and Bryce enjoying their donuts and orange juice!

Who knows what Joe is thinking? But I thought is was a good shot of him.

Jaxson watching the parade start!

Bryce got a little scared by the jet that flew over us!

Now they are starting to get into it, watching the firetrucks, motorcycles, marching bands and their favorite, Cosmo (BYU Cougar mascot)!

Later that day grandma and papa came over for a BBQ and fireworks. We went across the street to our church parking lot to lite.
Jaxson and Bryce loved to do the Pop-it fireworks!

Jaxson watching Joe set up the fireworks!
Our case of fireworks we got this year! As the boys get older the bigger the fireworks will get I'm sure! So lets start out small!
Joe starting to lite the fireworks!
Ooooo! Ahhhhh!
We came back to our house to do the sparklers. Jaxson is trying to figure out two without burning himself!
Bryce trying the same thing!
Loving the sparklers!
So is Joe!
The end of a long day!

Yes we all have our matching 4th of July t-shirts from Old Navy, aren't we festive! I hope you enjoyed a little bit of what we did. Hope you had a fun and festive one as well!

Boys Golf Day!

Last weekend Joe wanted to take Jaxson and Bryce to the driving range! The earlier you start them out the better, right! We gave them toy golf clubs for christmas last year and they have asked their dad several times if they could go out with him and use them. I wish I could say those golf clubs held up nicely, but they didn't, so after this Joe is going to get them some better ones. They had so much fun with Joe, and Joe with them. This is what he has been waiting for, to teach them how to golf!!! They went out in the evening and got a bucket of balls and started hitting them. Joe gave them a few pointers (as much as a four and two year old can understand) and I was suprised how well they did.
Here are a few pics from them hitting the balls....

Like Father like Sons.....

Bryce trying it all by himself....

Jaxson trying it by himself.....

Bryce & Jaxson watching other people....

When they were done at the driving range they went over to the putting greens to learn how to putt.......

Again Joe gave them a few pointers and now they are trying it out....they love to play miniture golf so this was not so hard for them...
Joe giving Bryce a high five after making a 30 foot putt...yes I said a 30 foot putt...Bryce was so excited that he got the ball in the hole from across the greens and Joe was really suprised, more proud than suprised.
Over all they had a great time and did not want to leave. I think Joe will take them back soon, he really loved and enjoyed having them with him in his favorite place.

Our Superman Father's Day

I hope everyone had a great Father's Day Weekend. Our weekend was totally relaxed and fun. On saturday we just spent the day at the pool with the boys, then came home and made homemade pizza on our BBQ grill which turned out so good. We are finding so many uses for our grill and it just tasted so much better. Then on sunday we had a Superman party. I made pancakes in cupcake tins with strawberries and whip cream as our topping and muffins with orange juice, easiest breakfast ever, and it tasted so good. I decorated our house with superman everything. Joe really was surprised and loved it.
I made t-shirts for the boys to wear that said "My dad is a super man". They really were excited for the whole superman theme as well. They could not wait to wake up their dad to show them everything I had done. But who could blame them!

I also made this banner that said "Happy Father's Day" in the superman lettering, and hung it on the wall with the superman logo hanging down from the chandelier.

I also made Joe a candy bar poster from the boys to show him how much they love him.

Then we ended the day with a BBQ with my mom and dad. The whole day turned out to be so fun and enjoyable. Sometimes when you put so much time and effort into something you hope it turns out ok. Well this one did, Joe and the boys loved the superman theme, it was right up their alley.

Cousins!!

My sister and her family came into town last November and we wanted to get pictures of the Grandkids and give it to my parents for christmas. These are the pictures that all of us just loved. They all look so similar and so cute. I know we took these a while ago but I still wanted to post them because I think they are so cute. The boys just love their cousin Maggie, they love looking at updated pictures of her. We are so sad that they live so far away. But look how cute! We can not wait for the two new babies to be born this year so we can take another one with all of them.

It's Potty Training Time!

I started potty training Bryce this week. So far it is going exactly what I expected it to be, just going. He has been so much easier than Jaxson, I knew what to expect going into this one. But he as also been watching Jaxson for the last several months and has been very interested in it, he has been asking me lately and I thought why not, I just had to get over my morning sickness. Hopefully we can have him trained by the time the new baby is born. Wish me luck for the next three months. At least it is summer and he can run around in nothing but his underwear.

Baby Pictures! Is it a Boy or Girl!

The other day I was having some complications with my pregnancy and when I called the doctor they suggested that I get an ultrasound to make sure things were still going ok. They got me in for an ultrasound the next day and everything is ok, and looks great. The baby is still kicking and moving and doing well. As they were checking the babies heart, kidneys, and other things, they asked me if I would like to know the gender of the baby. I am only 17 weeks so it is still a little early, but I could not resist, so we did. Can you guess what we are going to have? Yes ANOTHER BOY! They were pretty sure that it what it is. We are going to check again on June 15th but as I said we are pretty sure. Jaxson and Bryce came with me and they got to see the baby and heart his heart beat. They were so excited to see him and know that they will be having a baby brother. Jaxson really wanted a sister but I think he will be ok with a brother. Joe and I are really excited as well. I did not know how I was going to react if it was not a girl, but I am really excited and happy about having him. I know the Lord has entrusted me with these sweet young boys and raise them to be great missionairies. I guess we better start saving for missions NOW! Our family is just so glad we could have a new addition to the family. I hope you enjoy these new pics, I know Jaxson and Bryce love showing them to everyone! We are thinking of the name Emerson Tyler, we want to hear feed back on what you think! We love and miss all of you!

Pregnancy Pictures

Only 17 weeks pregnant. This baby is going to be huge! Let's keep this baby growing! Bryce loves to pat my tummy and Jaxson likes to tell me everyday that the baby is getting bigger. Even the four and two year old know how big I am getting! Oh well!
